“I got so mad when I watched the Republican debates on ABC last night. The way the candidates acted amongst themselves, the bickering, the attacks, and the uncalled for claims against one another … I felt like the Candidates went overboard, acting disrespectful to their fellow Candidates. This was highlighted by the disregard for what Dr. Paul was saying. I feel totally disgusted that these people are what the GOP had to fight with. The immediate reaction to Paul’s non interventionist views and use of history was terrifying.”
I have to admit that I did not get a chance to watch the recent ABC Republican debate myself, but it is clear that the disregard for Ron Paul’s opinions or just the failure to take him seriously is widespread in the media. I’m not saying that I endorse Paul in any way, but I feel that everyone should get an equal opportunity to campaign in the media. At the very least, media organizations and fellow candidates should give Paul the respect he rightfully deserves.
